So today is Mother’s Day and my 9 month old didn’t want to sleep past 6AM, so I decided to drop a quick post.

If your a Pay Per Click Newb, this should be helpful to your bottom line, Listen Up!

Google Trends can be used as a way to land some old school style .05 -.10 clicks with relative ease. These campaigns are rarely going to last long term, but are more of a hit it and quit it type moneymaker.

Here we go:

First brain storm all events going on at the time of your campaign launch. For Example: Superbowl, NBA Playoffs, World Series, Mother’s Day, Christmas, Valentines Day, New Years Eve (think weight loss resolutions), etc.

Now go to Google Trends and verify your brainstorming process. At the top of the page, type in your holiday/event and check out the time line graph. Separate different keywords by commas to compare traffic volume. Try these -> “Watch SuperBowl, Male Yeast Infection” remove the quotations of course. Male yeast infection is a known 30,000 searchers a month and really steady. It acts as a great baseline measure. Notice the huge spike in traffic for Superbowl in Jan/Feb. and it is increasing every year.

"Watch Superbowl vs. Male Yeast Infection"

Now go do some research on your keywords. Check out the Google External Adwords Tool. If there is always strong traffic with the occassional spike, good, but even if Google tells you there is no traffic for a given month, they are wrong (the estimate is coming from the month prior when there maybe wasn’t any traffic). We know what is about to come, so we get in front of the surge!

Go find a related Clickbank or CPA offer and Monetize it. As always, track and test that losing or break-even campaign until it is profitable and then…. SCALE IT TO THE MAX!!

And that’s about it. Using this method is a very effective way to fly-in under the radar and grab some cheap profitable clicks. I have used this method many times to create a quick income stream.

Just remember, this is a “Hit it and Quit it” method that will dry in in a matter of weeks or months depending on your current event!

Now go make some MONEY!
